We provide device planning and tender paperwork support for new hospital, operating theatre and laboratory investments.
Per project
When setting up a new hospital, operating theatre or laboratory, building the device list correctly is the most important step in determining the budget and running costs. Our biomedical engineers and clinical specialists provide independent technical consulting at this stage.
Support we provide
- A device requirement list (inventory plan) based on the number of beds and units
- Technical specification drafting and brand-neutral comparison
- Technical data sheets for the architectural team on electrical, medical gas, HVAC and floor requirements
- A qualification and conformity document set for tenders run through EKAP
- Acceptance tests and a first-year maintenance plan
Consulting does not oblige you to buy devices from us; specifications are drafted brand-neutral and do not restrict competition.
How we work
At the start of a project the institution's investment budget, bed plan and clinical service profile are assessed together. Consulting outputs are the device list, an estimated budget table, an infrastructure requirement report and an acceptance test plan. The service runs with weekly meetings and written progress reports.
Scope of service
- Inventory plan and budget estimate
- Brand-neutral specification
- Infrastructure data sheets
