The accuracy of devices that measure or deliver energy is assured by regular calibration. Our calibration laboratory measures traceably against reference standards and issues a certificate for every job.
Scope
- Bedside monitors: ECG, SpO₂, NIBP and temperature verification
- Ventilators and anaesthesia machines: volume, pressure and oxygen concentration
- Defibrillators: energy output and synchronised cardioversion test
- Autoclaves: temperature-pressure mapping and vacuum leak test
- Laboratory pipettes and centrifuge speed verification
A calibration label and certificate are accompanied by an automatic reminder email for the next due date, so that ISO 15189 or internal hospital audits never find missing records.
Certificates and records
At the end of each calibration a certificate is issued containing measurement uncertainties and details of the reference instruments used. Records are kept in a digital archive for ten years and are sent immediately as PDF to institutions that request them during audits. On-site calibration is preferred so that devices are not taken out of use.
