The DF-9 is a light and robust biphasic defibrillator/monitor suited to in-hospital and field use. It combines manual mode, semi-automated external defibrillation (AED) mode, synchronised cardioversion and transcutaneous pacing.

Periodic checking of energy output and battery status is mandatory for defibrillators. Hemera Medikal provides daily check lists and an annual safety test certificate along with calibration.
Delivery and maintenance
The device is delivered with a spare battery and two sets of pads. A daily check list comes with the device; annual energy output and safety test certification is included in the maintenance contract.
